Austin Quakers
Friends Meeting of Austin is a diverse and welcoming Quaker community committed to worship, fellowship, and action on social concerns. At Friends Meeting of Austin we believe that every person has a spark of the Divine Spirit within. As Quakers, we believe that each person can experience God directly, without outside assistance, and we seek this direct communion with God in our silent worship.
We seek to live our lives based on the values of the Religious Society of Friends: the promotion of peace, a commitment to all humanity, an understanding that love is a manifestation of God, and a belief that ”there is that of God in everyone”.
We celebrate diversity in its many forms, and strive to grow and sustain a loving fellowship where all feel welcome. Dress as you feel comfortable.
