All teachers and others working with kids and teenagers must undergo a background check. Here is how to start the process:
Go to the Safe Gatherings website: https://safegatherings.com
Click on the red tab at the top right for New User to make an account,
Fill out the application form.
The form will ask for you to write down a pastor’s reference and contact information.
You can use anyone from the First Day School committee or other members of the meeting
since we are all ministers. You may use one the co-clerks of our committee or the meeting clerk
You’ll also be asked for a secondary reference.
When the background check application is complete, you can then watch the training-video. It takes about an hour to complete. After completing these two requirements and your references complete the report.
The Meeting will inform you and the committee when you have been approved.
