UPDATES - March 5

Austin Public Health - Second Dose Availability

Austin Public Health is "manually" scheduling second dose appointments.  Persons who received the first shot through APH are notified by email, text or phone.  However, it seems that some people due for there second dose have not been notified due to system problems and backlog from the winter storm.  APH announced this temporary measure for those who received their first dose from APH: If it has been 42 or more days since your first dose you may walk-up to an APH vaccine site and present your vaccine card to receive your second dose.

Be sure to check the APH web site frequently for changes and updates at this link: COVID-19 in Austin | AustinTexas.gov (https://www.austintexas.gov/covid19)
