Meeting procedures have been updated for COVID-19 Stage 4 Guidelines
New meeting procedures revised by the Health Committee - July 23, 2021
This week Austin/Travis County Public Health has declared that due to rapidly increasing cases and hospitalizations we have entered Stage 4 of Covid-19 Risk. Therefore, until we return to lower stages, FMA is revising our practices regarding Meeting for Worship and other activities as follows:
- Anyone who has not been fully vaccinated should attend worship by Zoom video conferencing only.
- Everyone over two years old using any FMA buildings (indoors) must wear a mask.
- Everyone meeting indoors must maintain social distancing (six feet).
- Serving food and/or drinks in the Social hall will be suspended.
- Childcare and First Day School will be suspended.
- Future singing meetings will be suspended.
Fortunately, we still have the option of participating in activities via Zoom teleconferencing.
Sadly, if the present trends continue we may soon be forced to suspend all in person activities. The Health Committee will continue to monitor this situation and follow APH guidelines to protect the health of all especially our children
