Friends are invited to add their signatures to letters in support of Hilda Ramirez and Alirio Gamez in their requests for deferred action status regarding their deportation orders. Hilda, her son Ivan, and Alirio have been in sanctuary with the Austin Sanctuary Network for several years and last year received deferred action status which is expiring soon. This is a request to extend that status and allow work permits.
These letters will be reviewed by their lawyers for appropriateness before being forwarded to the San Antonio ICE office on Tuesday, March 22.
