Members and attenders of the Friends Meeting of Austin condemn the recent antisemitic banner drops, property destruction, and ongoing incidents of hate speech in Austin, and stand with all of the city’s members and attenders of Jewish congregations.

As Austin Quakers we are in favor of providing housing and services to those in our community experiencing homelessness. We oppose Proposition B on the May 1, 2021 ballot as a measure that provides neither housing nor services.

This is Milo with his new quilt. At Friends Meeting of Austin we have a tradition of making a quilt for each new born baby. The work of making fabric squares and assembling the quilt is shared across all members of the community who want to participate. Kids as well as adults are welcome.
