Friends Meeting of Austin supports the Daoud Nassar family in their claim to land held by their family for over 100 years in Israel/Palestine. The Nassars' non-violent ministry invites people from around the world to change hearts and to build a bridge between people, and the land.

As Austin Quakers we are in favor of providing housing and services to those in our community experiencing homelessness. We oppose Proposition B on the May 1, 2021 ballot as a measure that provides neither housing nor services.
Our meeting approved a statement calling on everyone here and around the world to hold all U.S. citizens and others in the Light during this election. We provided the statement to elected officials and to the news media. We encourage all to share this statement with others as you are led.
